The Art of Blogging...

I get really tired of people saying (on websites, in books, magazines, etc.) that "If you want to be a successful blogger, you need to post meaningful, helpful stuff for your readers, and you need to sell them stuff from you affiliate links." "You need to make your blog posts in such-and-such a way and make such-and-such points to be successful at blogging."
Yes, indeed, these ideas HELP make a blog successful. But honestly....me personally, I get annoyed with the blogs that are constantly trying to sell stuff, that are constantly making the posts uniform, and with 5 points for each post, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.... I personally prefer to visit the "real life" and "real person" blogs, like mine.  I will visit them over and over again if they are faithful at posting. I love reading the real life stories and the life updates. Yes, I do visit the 'Helpful Blogs', but only if I need help with something. But the 'Real Person' blogs always have been and always will be my favorites.
A perfect example of a 'Real Person' blog is here: I'm His Servant
Go Real Person Blogs!!! Woot, woot!
Another type of blogging that bugs me, is the 'Chat Chick'. Basically, it is where the blog owner goes to 'text' about their day, or to talk about their drama. They are irregular posters, they can't form a sentence or spell anything right, and they just go on, and on, and on, and on! Honestly, the reader is lucky enough to even understand the 'text speech', much less get through the whole blog post. It's chaos in written form!
Here is an example of what I am talking about (I wrote this just to use as an example, but it closely resembles a couple of blog posts that I've read today):
so today i like got the skair of my life!!!!! THERE WAS THIS BIRD THAT ATTACKED ME!! omg i thought i was going to die!!!! i was like freaking out and running and screaming until i got back in my house! then i told my roomie and she was like omg and she went out to look with the tennis racket wile i called my parents and told them about it and asked what i shood do. i mean, i soooooo thought that i was not going 2 be able to go to work because of that stupid bird. i hope it didnt have rabies. it probably gave me some terrible disease or something....just kidding...but the freeking bird did totally messed up my hair and everything. it was sooooo noooooot cool.....
REALLY? That is all you've got?.... You blog like you dress: trashy.
Seriously! If you are going to blog, do it right. Don't be too uniform, but don't treat it like you're texting your bff. Use your blog to IMPROVE your writing. You can have fun in the process and tell people about your terrifying fight with a bird, but do it with some form of dignity, please! Blog so I can actually read your post and not be appalled by your lack of grammar and creativity! Do it for the good of blog lovers everywhere! PLEASE!
