Patchwork and....Bullwinkle??

So my mother has been making this adorable patchwork vest for my sister. She is doing it using a program on her sewing machine. It sews it, embroiders it, and tells her where to cut and fold the fabric. It really is quite fascinating, and both my mother and the machine are doing a beautiful job. I am hoping that a crazy quilt for Yours Truly will be the next in line....

As my mother was showing my grandmother the patch work, my grandmother pointed at one of the fabrics and said something about "Rocky and Bullwinkle!"
HUH?? What is this 'Rocky and Bullwinkle'??
So, my mom told me to look it up on YouTube. My first thought when I watched the short little opening to the show was "There were cartoons before Rodger Rabbit?!?"
Of course I knew that there were older cartoons... But it was still my first thought.
