25 -Who Fascinates Me and Why

Day 25: Who fascinates you and why

So, I had to think about this one for a little bit. Fascinating?? What does the word mean??
Well, according to Wiktionary (an online dictionary), Fascinating means: Having interesting qualities; captivating, attractive.
Hmmmm.... Interesting. Captivating. Attractive.
With that explanation in mind, I can only think of one person who fascinates me to no end. He fascinates me everyday without fail, and the more I learn about him, the more fascinated I become.
No, it's not a boyfriend.
It's God. Elohim. Jehovah. YWHW. I AM.
He is not just 'the big man in the sky'.
He is the thunder in a storm that shakes you to your knees.
He is the bright flash of lightening that tears through the dark sky.
He is the birds sweet song that gives us peace.
He is the child's laughter that brings a smile to our face.
He is the one who invented the grass that absorbs light and turns it into oxygen for us to breath, draws nutrients from the ground and gives it to the animals when they eat.
He is the one who invented from two highly flammable gasses, a substance called water, something that, without it, our planet would die.
Everything on our planet needs water, even single cell organisms which are more complex than any creature we have found on our planet..... and yes, He invented those too.
The colors that we see and cannot see, the sounds we hear and cannot hear: all of these (and there are a lot) He invented.
He invented the animals, sea fairing, sky, and land dwelling. Each and every animal is unique in its own way. Each bird has a different feather pattern. Each zebra and tiger has a different stripe pattern. And there are how many species of birds?? And how many zebras and tigers would you be able to make unique before running out of ideas??
And the most amazing invention that He made of all was Humans. He could have made us like animals: each of us has a routine and programmed instincts. We stick to that routine and program every day of our lives until our dying day.
But he didn't do it that way. No, he gave us free wills and intelligence, something that, admittedly without, there would be a lot less hurt and wrong in the world, but without it, we would just be little robots, not really learning, understanding, creating, or building relationships. And the main reason He gave us a free will was so we could build a relationship with Him, learn about Him and what he has done, create our own things, and understand His hopes and plans for us.

Yes, God is the most fascinating person in the universe to me, and I just told you a little bitty piece of the reason why.
