What's Happen'in??

Well, for the past two weeks, I have been either at my grandfather's farm, or working at the vet.
The Lord has been showing me, and teaching me so many things, I don't know where to start.

First, the Lord has been showing me that I am under prepared for the future.

I need to memorize much more scripture, for one thing, but I also need to prepare myself to defend others.
I am quite ready to jump in and protect someone, but I have wondered "how long would I last?"
Thankfully, God has put a dear friend in my life, a great man of God, who is LOADED with valuable information, and has been providing me with much advice. The Lord has trained him, and prepared him in so many ways, it is amazing. It is unbelievable.

So I have been plotting, learning, working, and praying for ways to better prepare myself for the future to come.

Next, God has been pointing out some sins and bad habits in my life; sins that I didn't even know were there, and some that I have ignored for years. He has been using my parents to help me clear a mess of them up, and He has been using experiences at the farm, and elsewhere, to make a point to me, and to help me clear them up myself.

One sin that He pointed out to me was some recent bitterness towards people of the past. I have had some severe bitterness towards these people that I have bottled up. They were coming out in my dreams, words, and actions.

So, thankfully, God has been helping me clear this up, and forgive these people for the wrongs that they have done.

Also, He has just been showing me how utterly AMAZING He is! There are so many experiences, and stories, that it would take forever to tell them all!

One that I will tell: I have been fixing a lot of fence. I stand outside for hours at a time, often by myself, working, building, and fixing barb wire fence.

I started getting paranoid though about fixing fence, because of my hearing loss. What if I don't hear a rattle snake's warning (yes they are coming out), or what if I don't hear the growl of a mad animal?

So, I prayed that the Lord provide me with a hearing dog...even if just temporarily. Well, the dog He provided was somewhat of a surprise, but when God provides something for you, IT WORKS!

My sister's old Pomeranian, Dakota, has proved himself a good little hearing dog. Since Pomeranian's are so alert to EVERYTHING around them, I can tell if someone is speaking to me, if there is something wrong, if there is another animal nearby, or if my phone starts making strange noises, simply by watching his ears and eyes.

He also sticks to me like a fly, which is a little bit unusual for him. He likes to wander around and check things out, and he usually does not stay close to a human, though he does keep them in eyesight. But, as I said, when the Lord provides, it WORKS....

Also, he has been good sign language practice for me. He will only respond to commands through sign language.....

I also have been having some GREAT wittnessing opportunities....though they are not what I am used to.
I am used to finding a non-christian, and leading them to salvation. But God has been using me to make stronger the lives of Christians around me lately. It has been pretty amazing. And as He uses me, I am growing stronger, and, surprisingly to me, He has been making my life convictions stronger too!

All in all, the past two weeks have been amazing......and exhausting physically....BUT that is another story entirely.

May the Lord bless you as you read this, and may He bless the rest of your week!
