Reasons Why I Love My Dad

Momma & Daddy
Reasons Why I Love My Father
He provides for us.
He works hard.
He has kept us out of debt.
-        My dad is, thankfully, not like Pa Kettle. He doesn’t sit around all day, telling other people what to do, and he doesn’t borrow money from anyone for any reason. He has worked very hard to supply our needs, and to keep us out of debt.
He is there for us.
He spends time with us.
-        My dad has always made a big deal about spending time with us kids. He doesn’t play sports with us, take us out to eat, or take us to the park, but he sits and watches movies with us, talks politics with us, talks about the Bible with us, and he likes to sit in the yard and watch us play. He is always there for us when we are sick.
He is full of good character.
He has held firm to all his beliefs and standards.
He has earned the respect of others through his hard work and strength of character.
-        My dad has never cheated, never stolen, never thrown a fit with anyone, never sued anyone, on top of never having drank, smoked, or chewed.
He likes to give us things we want.
He lets us have horses, even though he loathes the beasts.
-        Though he makes sure our NEEDS are filled before our wants, he does try to supply the things we want, as long as it is within reason. But, if one of us wants a brand new Mustang car, he sits us down and tells us that such a car is a neat thing, but completely useless and unnecessary.
His temper flares only on rare occasions.
He is good humored.
He is easy to please.
Yes....I love my daddy very, very much.
