Oh, for the Love of Writing!

In case you did not know (but I'm sure most of you do) I am an 'aspiring' author. Been that way since 2001 when I started writing my first book: The Dragon's Son.
Since that time, I have promised many people many, many times that "I will be getting it published soon!", only to tell them later "Well, I'm still editing it."
I finished writing it in 2009. I've been editing it since then.
I REALLY want to get this book published. My family REALLY wants me to get this book published. My friends REALLY want me to get this book published. I have gotten death threats that go like this: "If you don't get that book finished and published soon, I will personally kill you and then raise you back up from the dead so that you will FINISH THAT BOOK!!!"
Believe me, no one wants this book finished and published more than I, but for some reason I am having difficulty finding the balance between 'too slow' and 'rushing it'.
I want to hurry up and get the editing over and done with, but I know that nothing kills a book on the market faster than lousy editing as a result of 'rushing it'.
But at the same time, a book that never finds the end of editing never finds the printing press either.
>HEAVY SIGH<
Anyway, all that is to say that I am still working on my book. I am close to finishing and I already have great reviews for it from people across the US and internationally. If you don't believe me you can look HERE at this blog. I was super excited to see that someone (other than me) had blogged about my book!!
If you would like to see more reviews or read a few chapters of my book for yourself, you can join this website for free and find it there. The website is called AUTHONOMYIt is an amazing place to learn, read, critique, and share with others what you have written. I joined it over a year ago and I am SO glad I did! I have learned so much and I have gotten so much encouragement!
It is free to join and you can read and critique as many books on it as you like as well as get feedback from unbiased people about your work. It's the bomb.
THIS is where you can find my book(s) and see my profile on Authonomy.
Anyway, I am not going to end with any promises, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am still working on my book, I am excited that I am nearing the end, and I am very excited people are already starting to notice it. YAY!
